RIVERTON, Wyoming and CEDAR PARK, Texas, April 20, 2009 - Pertech Resources, Inc. and Integrated Bank Technology (IBT) announced the signing of an agreement for IBT to distribute Pertech’s 6100 family of check scanner products.
IBT's Remote Deposit Capture application and Pertech’s 6100 family of check scanning products form a perfect partnership enabling efficient and accurate processing of check deposits.

The Series 6100 is specifically designed to meet the growing demand for low cost, high quality, two-sided scanning. The extensive features available in the scanner include: Simultaneous 2-sided scanning at 200 dpi with options for very high resolution at 400 dpi and color, integrated E13B MICR with exceptional read accuracy, USB connectivity for high speed communications, TWAIN 2.0 and custom API interfaces available for ease in software integration, media thickness capability up to .032” for scanning ID cards and other documents, straight through document path and clamshell design for trouble free operation and ease of contact image sensor cleaning, check defacing option, and a small footprint.
Remote deposit capture allows the customer of a financial institution to make deposits any time of the day or night without the need to drive to the bank. It helps to increase efficiency throughout the day and speeds up the forward presentment of checks through the payments process. Furthermore, potential fraud is reduced by the increased speed in processing the checks and back office personnel needs are reduced due to the virtual elimination of encoding read failures.
