Pertech Resources, Inc. announces the release of the first TWAIN 2.0 driver in the industry for use with check scanning.
The introduction of the Pertech 6100 check scanner with the Twain 2.0 driver enables the check image acquisition workflow to enter the next generation of technology by supporting open source, operating systems, 64 bit, check scanning, MICR and additional file formats.
“The TWAIN 2.0 driver, combined with the Pertech 6100 check scanner, is a true plug-and-play enabled scanner, making the Pertech 6100 scanner Easy to install and Easy to use”, commented Bill Buser, Director of Business Development and Sales for Pertech Resources.
Pertech's introduction of the Twain 2.0 driver provides both end-users and software integrators an easy path to interface the Pertech 6100 check scanner into their workflow. Using the Twain 2.0 driver with the Pertech 6100 scanner, the user can capture two sides of the check with a MICR read - all in about 1.5 seconds.
The Pertech 6100 check scanner with the Twain 2.0 driver offers:
• Windows XP 32-bit, Vista 32/64-bit compatibility.
• MICR Read Capability.
• Check & ID Card Scanning.
• Multiple and Single Stamping for Check Image Validation.
• TIFF, JFIF, and BMP File Formats
• CCITT Group 4 compressed, JPEG compressed, or uncompressed images
• Image Rotation.
• Duplex Imaging.
• Tallies for Hours and Checks Scanned.
• Color Capabilities Forthcoming.
